Consultation $75

Mariah Alyce offers a variety of service packages that will fit the needs of expecting families. In this consultation, we will talk about the family’s desired outcomes and expectations, discuss how Mariah Alyce’s services can support you, discuss how your family can benefit from Doula support.

Consultation required for all birth support services. Fee will be applied towards Doula services.

 

Perinatal Education Support $350

2 hour Birth Education Course + Coping Strategies

Birthing Plan

90 minute Newborn Feeding Education Course + Pumping Teachniques

Postpartum Recovery Education + Postpartum Plan


Virtual Birth Support $1500

Virtual Guidance provides expecting families with evidence-based education to support the desired birthing outcome. This service includes:

Birth Education

Newborn Feeding Education

Accessibility via text, email, or phone ( 24-Hour on-call accessibility at 37-weeks gestation until birth)

3 Virtual Prenatal check-ins

Continued labor, birth, and breastfeeding initiation support via phone or video conference

2 Virtual Postpartum follow-up to debrief birthing experience and address postpartum concerns

3 Virtual Lactation Consultations

 

Homebirth Support

Mariah Alyce is currently studying Midwifery (CPM) under the Preceptorship of Maria Cranford, as a Phase II Student Assist, serving in the North Alabama region. If you are interested in homebirth support, please schedule a consultation here.

How can a Doula assist me?

  • Addresses the expecting family’s concerns regarding birth and lactation

What if I don’t want to go unmedicated?

My role, as your Doula, is not to choose your birthing experience for you. My role is to educate you to assist you in making well informed decisions, present alternative options, and support your choices regarding your birth. I will continuously offer encouragement and support regardless of your choice to labor medicated, unmedicated, vaginally, or by cesarean. I am your ally. I support YOU.

What about my spouse/family?

I offer inclusive education and support, to assist your spouse/family in being actively involved throughout your labor and birthing process. Your family will learn about:

  • Education, support, and assistance in advocating for birthing mother’s desires

  • Support techniques to aid in pain management for labor and birth
